ROUGE is an artistic figure and represents actress, director and the audience. Tangled within this unpossably merging roles i‘m interested in breaking with the expectations of fictive storytelling. It plays with the approach of presentation and representation in film and dissolves the boundary between ‚on screen‘ and ‚off screen‘. Settled in a dreamy bar, dipped in red we are able to emerge into an artificial setting where time follows a subjectice rythm.
