I get more and more intrigued by the possibility of measuring space through images. In this work I start to measure space trough capturing the same motives while constantly walking up the hill. the measurement follows a rhythm, a pattern.
But suddenly the pattern changes, as the hight reveals new insights, new perspectives. 

The rather ironic title refers to the process of working with 40+ years expired film stock. Hand-processed film captures traces of the process on its material. Dust, scratches and imperfections contradict the ambition of the clean, the proper.
